Leasing Professional – Vista 121

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing and renewal strategies for Vista 121, driving occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals. This role involves all activities related to leasing new residents, ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and securing lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments and process applications.
• Perform credit screening and criminal background checks, prepare lease and move‑in packages, and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any outstanding items with maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Experience conducting community tours, qualifying prospects and processing leasing applications.
• Ability to perform credit and background checks and prepare lease documentation.
• Familiarity with local market trends and competitor activity.
• Capability to design and implement marketing initiatives that drive traffic.
• Proficiency using property management software to manage unit availability and resident data.
