Leasing Professional – Verona (Santa Monica)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to join its Verona community in Santa Monica. You will be responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through effective marketing, leasing, and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any maintenance needs, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of leasing experience with a minimum 30% closing ratio.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to maintain resident satisfaction.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi).
• Proficiency in online marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
