Leasing Professional – Verde Vista Community

About the role

We are looking for a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal efforts for the Verde Vista community in Asheville. The role focuses on achieving occupancy targets, maximizing revenue and ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease and move‑in packages, coordinate smooth resident move‑ins and handle lease signings.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure they are ready and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leasing or property‑management sales activities.
• Strong knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor dynamics.
• Ability to conduct property tours, process applications and manage lease documentation.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and resident‑retention focus.
