Leasing Professional – The Pointe at New Town

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to join our team at The Pointe at New Town in Williamsburg. In this role you will drive occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction through effective marketing, leasing and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, show apartments and manage the application, credit and background check process.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure a smooth transition for new residents.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to address any issues and maintain move‑in ready standards.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record prospect activity and maintain resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport with prospective and existing residents.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
