Leasing Professional - The Pierpont

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for The Pierpont community to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This role involves all leasing activities from prospect qualification to move‑in and lease renewal support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral, employer outreach, and online advertising.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, resident data, and leasing activity.
• Maintain show units to company standards, manage daily leasing office preparation, and follow up with prospects and residents.
• Support lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents, and ensuring timely signing.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses/certifications required for leasing.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite and Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
