Leasing Professional – The Ellis

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for The Ellis community, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and manage lease sign‑ups and move‑ins.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Develop and execute marketing plans, including online listings, resident referrals, and employer outreach.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, prospect data, and leasing activity.
• Maintain show‑unit standards, handle daily office preparation, and respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries.
• Support lease renewal program by preparing renewal packages, contacting residents early, and securing signed agreements.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Knowledge of leasing processes, credit screening, and lease documentation.
