Leasing Professional – The Del Rey

About the role

The Leasing Professional for The Del Rey will lead all leasing activities, from prospect outreach to lease signing, ensuring high occupancy and resident satisfaction. You will act as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, managing the full leasing cycle and supporting community marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and coordinate smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before move‑in and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform occupancy strategies.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Utilize internet marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook to drive traffic.
• Maintain accurate records of availability, traffic, and leasing activity using on‑site property management software.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to greet and qualify prospects.
• Detail‑oriented approach to processing applications and preparing lease documents.
• Ability to inspect units and coordinate maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of local market conditions and competitive leasing strategies.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software (OneSite, Yardi).
• Proficiency using internet marketing platforms (Craigslist, Facebook).
