Leasing Professional – Storehouse Nine

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for Storehouse Nine, a mid‑rise community of 78 units. This temporary, part‑time position focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention goals while delivering a high‑quality resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure units are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use on‑site property management software to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Experience in sales or leasing with a proven ability to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to qualify prospects and conduct effective tours.
• Attention to detail for application processing, credit screening and lease preparation.
• Ability to stay informed about local market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
