Leasing Professional – McAlpine Vista

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for McAlpine Vista, a garden‑style community in Charlotte, NC. This role combines sales, marketing, and customer service to attract new residents, ensure smooth move‑ins, and secure lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to meet occupancy and revenue goals, including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, conducting tours, and processing applications.
• Handle credit screening, criminal background checks, lease preparation, and move‑in coordination.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Available to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends.
• Ability to conduct tours, qualify prospects, and process leasing paperwork accurately.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and move‑in readiness.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with online marketing platforms including Craigslist and Facebook.
