Leasing Professional – Lakesound

About the role

The Leasing Professional at Lakesound will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention by managing all aspects of the leasing cycle. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them from initial inquiry through move‑in and supporting lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure a smooth resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show units to company standards through daily inspections.

Required profile

• Experience in leasing or property management with a focus on achieving occupancy goals.
• Ability to conduct tours, process applications, and manage lease documentation accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor activity.
