Leasing Professional for Parkside Apartments

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive leasing, marketing and renewal activities for Parkside Apartments, ensuring high occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including online listings, resident referral programs and employer outreach.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, resident data and leasing activity.
• Maintain show units and marketing corridors to company standards and prepare the office for daily leasing operations.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls or cards to secure leases and renewals.
• Prepare renewal letters, meet with renewing residents and ensure timely signing of renewal documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, documenting and escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, including on‑call duties.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
