Leasing Professional – Community Marketing & Resident Retention

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for one of its residential communities. You will be responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through a full spectrum of leasing duties and community outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, and showcase available units.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any necessary maintenance, and ensure units are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and special programs.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record prospect activity, and maintain resident data.
• Inspect show units daily to maintain company standards for presentation.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conducting tours and building resident relationships.
• Detail‑oriented approach to application processing, background screening, and lease preparation.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Proactive mindset for developing and executing marketing plans.
