Leasing Professional – Community Lease‑Up Specialist

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for a midrise community of 212 units, ensuring occupancy and resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage lease sign‑ups to meet revenue and occupancy goals.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral, employer outreach, and online advertising.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, prospect data, and leasing activity.
• Maintain show units and marketing corridors to company standards and prepare the office for daily leasing operations.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to secure leases and renewals.
• Prepare renewal packages, contact renewing residents, and ensure timely execution of lease extensions.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, documenting and escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work rotating weekends, evenings, and holidays, and to take on‑call duties.

Required skills

• Proficiency with on‑site property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience conducting leasing tours, processing applications, and managing lease documentation.
