Leasing Professional – Carelton Courtyard

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for Carelton Courtyard by managing all aspects of the leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in and lease renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Monitor market trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer‑service orientation with a focus on resident satisfaction.
• Ability to meet occupancy and revenue targets through proactive leasing activities.
• Attention to detail for unit inspections and documentation.
• Awareness of local market conditions and competitor activity.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
