Leasing Professional – Canvas at the Quarry

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional for its Canvas at the Quarry community in Charlotte, NC. You will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through leasing, marketing, and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage lease sign‑ups.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, prospect data, and demographic information.
• Maintain show units and marketing corridors to Greystar standards, handling merchandising and daily inspections.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to secure leases and renewals.
• Prepare renewal packages, contact residents before move‑out dates, and ensure timely execution of renewal documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• Valid state licenses and certifications as required for leasing.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance), and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
