Leasing Professional – Aventine Fort Totten

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to join the Aventine Fort Totten community in Washington. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction through effective marketing, leasing and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, including credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure a smooth resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues and maintain move‑in ready conditions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and manage prospect data.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build relationships with prospective and existing residents.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
