Leasing Professional – Avana Matthews

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal efforts for the Avana Matthews community in Matthews, NC. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, ensuring a seamless leasing experience and driving occupancy and resident retention.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage lease sign‑ups to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential leasing or sales with a focus on achieving occupancy goals.
• Strong knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitor offerings.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills to guide prospects through the leasing process.
• Ability to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends as needed.
