Leasing Professional – Ascent Uptown

About the role

The Leasing Professional for Ascent Uptown will lead all leasing activities for this high‑rise, stabilized community of 300 units in Charlotte, NC. You will be responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through effective marketing, prospect qualification, tours, and lease processing.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, prepare lease agreements, and manage move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential leasing or property management.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport with prospects and residents.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends.
