Leasing Manager – Student Living Community

About the role

The Leasing Manager will lead marketing, advertising, and leasing activities for Southside Commons, a student‑living community. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure revenue and occupancy targets are met while maintaining high resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Direct community marketing, print and internet advertising, and sales initiatives to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.
• Set rent pricing, concessions, and leasing incentives based on market and competitor analysis.
• Monitor daily leasing activity, on‑site traffic, and maintain an inventory of “ready” apartments.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure property appearance, safety standards, and unit readiness, including creating mini‑models and merchandising techniques.
• Participate actively in the leasing process: generate traffic, qualify prospects, prepare lease documents, and oversee move‑in procedures.
• Generate and analyze sales and leasing reports using the company’s property management software.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans and implement creative strategies to boost traffic and lease conversions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leasing management or property marketing, preferably in student or multifamily housing.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and occupancy drivers.
• Ability to lead a leasing team and coordinate with maintenance and operations staff.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
