Leasing Manager – Co/Relate West Adams (Student Living)

About the role

The Leasing Manager will lead marketing, sales and leasing activities for the Co/Relate West Adams student‑living community, driving revenue, occupancy and resident retention.

Key responsibilities

• Direct community marketing, advertising and sales efforts, manage on‑site traffic, set rent pricing and concessions, and monitor daily leasing activities.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, using creative pricing, incentives and advertising strategies to boost traffic and leases.
• Create print and internet advertising campaigns and generate sales reports using Greystar’s property‑management software.
• Partner with maintenance to ensure unit readiness, conduct inspections, and employ merchandising techniques such as mini‑models.
• Participate directly in leasing: qualify prospects, prepare lease documents, and manage move‑in procedures.
• Analyze financial, traffic and closing‑ratio reports to identify performance issues and present findings to owners and managers.
• Oversee lease renewal programs, resident events and move‑out assistance.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, resolving issues or escalating as needed.
• Recruit, hire, train and manage the leasing team, ensuring performance aligns with company standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local market conditions and competitor activity.
• Proven ability to meet revenue and occupancy targets.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Experience supervising a leasing or sales team.
