Community Manager – Co/Relate West Adams (Student Living)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Co/Relate West Adams student living community. The role includes managing staff, budgets, resident relations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets, analyze financial statements, and meet targeted revenue goals.
• Oversee lease enforcement, resident applications, renewals, inspections, and collections.
• Build relationships with university officials, stay informed on policies, and ensure community compliance.
• Implement marketing and leasing strategies based on market trends to achieve occupancy targets.
• Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, service requests, and maintaining property standards.
• Supervise property staff, handle hiring, training, and performance management.

Required profile

• M.Ed or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in residence life or property management.
• Knowledge of equity, inclusion, and higher‑education housing regulations (FERPA, Title IX, ADA, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, and diplomatic skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, Entrata.
• Experience using THD (The Housing Director), PeopleSoft, MaxPanda or equivalents.
• Advanced skills in internet research, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
