Leasing Consultant – Residential Property

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team at Westfield Landing. In this part‑time role you will help prospective residents discover our community, guide them through the leasing process, and support current tenants to ensure high occupancy and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Lease apartments by conducting telephone sales and in‑person tours.
• Follow up with prospects and existing residents to build rapport.
• Provide consistent, high‑quality customer service.
• Coordinate move‑ins and move‑outs for a smooth resident experience.
• Manage lease negotiations, renewals, and resident retention activities.
• Maintain curb appeal and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Enter work order requests and updates into Yardi.
• Assist with rent collection, delinquency tracking, and reporting to management.
• Support community marketing and relationships with local businesses.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• No prior leasing experience required.
• Basic reading, writing, math and reasoning abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb and perform occasional physical tasks.

Required skills

• Beginner proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Yardi property‑management software.
