Leasing Consultant – Active Adult Community

About the role

The Leasing / Sales Consultant drives marketing, leasing and renewal activities for an active‑adult community, ensuring high occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction. The role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, guiding them through the leasing process and supporting renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, credit checks and lease sign‑ups to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Design and execute marketing events, referral programs and online campaigns to generate traffic.
• Maintain property management software data, track unit availability and analyze leasing metrics.
• Prepare lease renewal packages, contact renewing residents and follow the AA renewal playbook.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries, coordinate with maintenance, and assist the Lifestyle Coordinator with events.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality or related field preferred.
• 1‑3 years of sales, marketing or customer‑service experience in residential leasing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain legal documents.

Required skills

• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and property‑management applications.
• Experience using CRM systems and internet marketing tools.
• Basic mathematical skills for processing sales conversions.
