Lead Server

About the role

The Lead Server will head the Food and Beverage Service team at Troubadour Golf & Field Club, delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and guests. Reporting to Food & Beverage leadership, you will ensure high‑quality service, oversee staff, and uphold the Discovery Land Company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise dining room service staff, ensuring consistent, high‑level guest interaction and communication.
• Greet members and guests promptly, anticipate needs, and respond with urgency.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage and Culinary leadership to craft outstanding beverage experiences.
• Train staff on standard operating procedures, including drink preparation, food handling, POS entry, and bar setup/teardown.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of bar and menu items, providing recommendations and managing wine pairings.
• Accurately process transactions in the POS system, issue checks, and close sales according to policy.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of dining and storage areas, monitoring perishable items and food safety standards.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in high‑end or luxury food‑and‑beverage operations (resort, restaurant, or private club).
• 2–3 years of bartending experience in a fast‑paced, upscale environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP and local food safety regulations; ability to obtain a State Food Safety Certificate.
• Strong wine and beverage knowledge with a passion for industry trends.
• Exceptional attention to detail, quality, and service.
