About the role
Lead Product Management – Technical at Mastercard supports the Authorization Decisioning product within the Decision Management program. The role drives the roadmap and backlog for high‑throughput, low‑latency, data‑intensive processing that powers global payment decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between product marketing and engineering, translating business drivers into technical requirements.
- Build deep relationships with product partners to align technology solutions with market needs.
- Collaborate across Decision Management and Mastercard Technology to understand system architecture, dependencies, and runtime operations.
- Define and maintain a detailed, development‑ready backlog for a team of software engineers.
- Prioritize features and enhancements to enable faster, smarter decisioning at scale.
Required profile
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Curious, analytical mindset with a strong desire to understand “why” and “how”.
- Organized ability to turn abstract inputs into concrete, actionable tasks.
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
