Senior Project Manager – IT Software Modernization

About the role

Dynamic Planning & Response LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead day‑to‑day delivery of Harris’s SYSCON ELITE implementation for the Hawaii Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The role is hybrid, based in Honolulu, and requires close collaboration with the client and internal project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall project planning, scheduling, scope, risk management and delivery governance across solution alignment, requirements definition, data migration, development cycles, testing, training, go‑live and post‑go‑live support.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring accountability, collaboration and successful execution.
• Partner with Business Analysts, QA and Development teams to translate requirements into deliverables.
• Facilitate project kick‑offs, steering committee meetings, stakeholder workshops and regular status reporting.
• Apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban or hybrid) and support issue triage during UAT, go‑live readiness and post‑go‑live support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex software implementation projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects from initiation to completion with strong client‑facing skills.
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, Product Owner) are strong assets.
• U.S. citizenship or valid U.S. visa required.
