Lead Merchandisers

About the role

American Greetings is seeking part‑time Lead Merchandisers to maintain product displays across several retail locations in Normal and Bloomington, IL. You will work directly with store staff to ensure greeting‑card sections and other areas are well‑stocked and visually appealing.

Key responsibilities

• Merchandise and maintain product displays in the greeting‑card department and other store areas as needed.
• Use a company‑provided tablet to review weekly tasks, manage inventory, and record time.
• Build relationships with retail associates and management during daytime business hours.
• Travel to multiple locations, including Target, Party City, and Fresh Thyme Farmers Market.

Required profile

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb (with reasonable accommodation).
• Reliable transportation and internet access.
• Flexible availability for occasional weekends around major holidays.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

What we offer

• Starting pay $14.00 per hour with scheduled increases to $14.80 after 6 months and $15.50 after 1 year.
• Flexible work scheduling, averaging 8 hours per week (up to 16 hours during holidays).
• Paid training and mileage reimbursement.
