Lead Maintenance Technician

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee technical and mechanical work across a high‑rise property in Sarasota, Florida. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose the source of defects or problems and make repairs in line with Greystar policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.

Required profile

• Experience performing technical and mechanical maintenance in a residential or commercial setting.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, safety standards, and local code requirements.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.
