Lead Maintenance Technician – Altera Conner Park

About the role

The Lead Maintenance Technician ensures that all physical aspects of Altera Conner Park – from apartments to common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position supports residents, prepares vacant units for new occupants, and maintains the property’s grounds and amenities.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident‑initiated work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final quality checks.
• Track and manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, returning unused items and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude for diagnosing and repairing building systems.
