Lead Line Cook

About the role

The Lead Line Cook will join the culinary team at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, supporting food preparation, deliveries, and kitchen cleanliness while delivering the Discovery Land Company experience to members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and lead a team of cooks, assigning duties and ensuring consistent quality.
• Maintain recipe standards, portion sizes, and visual appeal of all dishes.
• Enforce HACCP and food‑safety standards, preventing use of contaminated products.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, orderly, and equipment well‑maintained.
• Monitor inventory levels and report equipment issues to management.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of full‑service restaurant experience as a Lead Line Cook or similar role.
• Proven ability to lead kitchen staff during service.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and handle physical demands of standing, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in varied weather.
• Fluent English communication; additional languages a plus.
