About the role
Reframe Systems is seeking a motivated Lead HVAC Technician Installer to join its factory operations team in Billerica. You will work on innovative modular homes, installing and testing all‑electric HVAC systems such as heat pumps and energy recovery ventilators.
Key responsibilities
- Install and mount heat pumps, including refrigerant line connections.
- Install, test, and commission ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilator) systems.
- Assemble and install ductwork, ensuring proper sealing for optimal airflow.
- Perform performance tests on HVAC systems and assist with quality inspections.
- Collaborate with licensed plumbers and electricians while following safety protocols and building codes.
Required profile
- Experience with HVAC systems; EPA Section 608 Universal Certification preferred but not required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, work overhead, and perform manual‑dexterity tasks.
- Strong desire to learn, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
