Lead GTM Finance Analyst

About the role

Shield AI, a venture-backed defense-tech company, is hiring a GTM Finance business partner to support Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Customer Success. The role owns the end-to-end GTM cost structure: OpEx budgets, headcount planning, spend analytics and the data pipelines and reporting that power GTM intelligence. It is a hybrid position combining finance, data engineering and operational strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain GTM headcount, spend forecasting, tracking and capacity models, and monitor actuals versus plan and forecast with cost center owners
• Automate headcount reconciliations across HR, Finance and GTM systems, including unit economics
• Define data architecture, KPIs and source-of-truth models with Data Engineering and BI, and build automated reporting workflows and dashboards in Databricks, Power BI or similar
• Write and maintain SQL for ETL workflows across the data lake / Databricks environment, and build data pipelines and semantic models
• Set up data quality monitoring, validation rules and anomaly detection, and write SOPs for close, headcount reconciliation, budget loading and variance reporting
• Work with Revenue Ops, HR, Recruiting and Accounting so financial plans match operational reality, and lead special projects and analyses for finance leadership

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, CS or a related field
• 3-6 years of experience in FP&A, GTM Finance, Sales Finance, RevOps or equivalent analytical roles
• Experience in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, robotics, automotive or another hardware-driven environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Required skills

• Advanced financial modeling in Excel and driver-based forecasting
• Cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift) and ETL/pipeline concepts
• Building headcount models and GTM or corporate OpEx budgets
• Preferred: Anaplan, ERP/CRM (Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce), strong SQL, defense tech or government contracting exposure
