Lead Budtender

About the role

Nature's Herbs & Wellness is seeking a full‑time Lead Budtender for its Log Lane Village dispensary. This hands‑on leadership position blends customer service with team support and store organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direction to Budtenders and front‑desk staff, coordinate breaks and coverage, and adjust priorities as traffic changes.
• Assist customers, stock shelves, clean, and operate the register as needed.
• Maintain cash drawers, reconcile safe and ATM cash, and handle tip accounting.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and Colorado cannabis regulations.
• Support newer employees in product knowledge and procedural training.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service background with cash‑handling experience.
• Ability to lead, communicate clearly and manage time effectively.
• Reliability, accountability and good judgment for decision‑making and escalation.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain a Colorado MED employee license if not already held.

Required skills

• Cash handling and accurate counting.
• Product knowledge of cannabis strains and accessories.
• Understanding of POS systems and tip tracking.

What we offer

• Base pay $17.00 per hour plus typical tips of $4–$6 per hour.
