Lead Biz Ops Engineer

About the role

Mastercard’s ITSM Service Operations team is looking for a Lead Biz Ops Engineer to drive reliability, scalability, and performance of critical applications that support global payment operations. You will lead the Service Operations Tooling team, champion automation, and mentor engineers while ensuring seamless service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own the enterprise lifecycle for Change, Service Events, Incident, and Problem Management.
• Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks to improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, blameless post‑mortems, and drive preventive actions.
• Collaborate with development teams early in the lifecycle to embed reliability practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Business Operations within large‑scale technology environments.
• Strong understanding of ITSM processes and service reliability principles.
• Ability to translate business impact into technical solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
