Lead, AI Security Engineer

About the role

As the Lead AI Security Engineer, you will drive the security strategy for AI‑based systems and platforms, collaborating with engineering, data science, product and security teams to embed security throughout the AI lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure AI architectures, reference patterns and engineering practices.
• Partner with security architects, engineering and product teams to apply AI security requirements consistently.
• Evaluate AI technologies and architectures to identify risks and recommend mitigations.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, red‑team activities and penetration testing focused on AI models, agents and supporting infrastructure.
• Document findings, prioritize remediation and track risk‑reduction activities to closure.
• Define and apply security requirements across the AI development lifecycle, from data handling to model retirement.
• Provide technical guidance on security evaluation of AI use cases and platforms.
• Contribute to internal security standards, control guidance and governance processes for AI security.
• Stay current on regulatory requirements and emerging guidance from NIST, ISO, OWASP, MITRE and related frameworks.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of AI technologies, application security and secure system design.
• Proven experience assessing AI‑related risks and implementing risk‑management practices.
• Ability to coordinate work across multidisciplinary engineering, data science and product teams.
• Familiarity with industry security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, OWASP and MITRE.
