Large Casualty Executive Underwriter / AVP Director

About the role

Zurich is seeking an experienced Large Casualty Underwriter to join the National Account, Large Casualty team in Dallas/Addison. The role supports profitable growth and renewal retention by evaluating, pricing, and negotiating complex commercial insurance risks while building broker and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite, analyze, and generate new and renewal Large Casualty business.
• Maintain broker relationships across the South Region and work within broad limits on complex assignments.
• Administer underwriting rules, insurance laws, regulations, and rating manual guidelines.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant years of underwriting, market‑facing, claims, or underwriting support experience as outlined for Executive Underwriter or AVP levels.
• Experience working under time constraints for quotes and in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
