Land Acquisition Analyst (Tampa, FL)

About the role

We are seeking a Land Acquisition Analyst to join our Tampa office and support the evaluation of land purchase opportunities for luxury single‑family home developments. The analyst will work independently, applying sophisticated land‑use and financial analysis to guide acquisition decisions in a dynamic real‑estate market.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed land‑use, zoning and financial feasibility studies for potential sites.
• Lead due‑diligence activities, including concept planning, environmental assessments, utility and title reviews.
• Monitor local market trends and adjust acquisition models to reflect current conditions.
• Prepare and present acquisition recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with planning, legal and development teams throughout the acquisition process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven residential land acquisition experience in single‑family or in‑fill projects.
• Strong understanding of land planning, zoning, real‑estate law and market dynamics.
• Highly organized with solid analytical abilities and experience in complex financial analysis.
