Laboratory Technician II – Oral Care R&D

About the role

The Laboratory Technician II supports oral care research and on‑site human panel studies for Bureau Veritas in Mason, Ohio. Reporting to the onsite supervisor, this full‑time, non‑exempt position works a standard Monday‑Friday schedule with flexibility for project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior staff in planning, organizing, and executing on‑site human panel studies, including sample collection (breath, saliva) and product usage guidance.
• Perform sterile handling of samples, apply aseptic techniques, and process human samples for microbiological testing.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, restock supplies, safely dispose of waste, and ensure overall lab upkeep.
• Document experimental notes, data, and results accurately in physical notebooks, logbooks, SharePoint files, and Excel spreadsheets.

Required profile

• Associate's degree or higher in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to adhere to strict schedules.
• Strong attention to detail, quick learner, and effective communicator.

• Pipetting and solution preparation.
