Laboratory Supervisor

About the role

The Laboratory Supervisor supports the Laboratory Manager in daily laboratory operations, ensuring timely and accurate test results while upholding company policies and ethics.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor key performance indicators such as turnaround time and data accuracy.
• Supervise and coordinate staff performing chemical and physical tests, including training on standard methods and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain resources, training records, and competency documentation for laboratory personnel.
• Assist with budgeting, sales, and cost control to meet financial targets.
• Lead investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or minimum three years related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present technical information.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and interpret technical data.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and laboratory equipment software.
• Knowledge of calibration, verification, and maintenance procedures for lab instrumentation.
