Lab Tutor – Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, is seeking a part‑time Lab Tutor to support Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology (ECET) students. You will help students succeed in hands‑on labs covering circuit analysis, digital electronics, microcontrollers, and introductory programming.

Key responsibilities

• Assist ECET students with lab exercises in circuit analysis, digital systems, and microcontroller programming.
• Guide students in building and testing circuits using the Arduino platform.
• Provide support for introductory computer programming tasks.
• Deliver lab assistance on‑site at the Marietta or North Metro campus or remotely via Microsoft Teams.
• Maintain a safe and organized lab environment.

Required profile

• Achieved a grade of B or higher in Introduction to Engineering Technology, Circuit Analysis I & II, Digital Systems I & II, and Computer Programming Foundations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ECET coursework, circuit building, and the Arduino platform.
• Ability to work part‑time on a per‑academic‑term basis.
