Lab Operations Technician

About the role

Universal Diagnostics (UDx) is looking for a Lab Operations Technician to support daily laboratory activities in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area. You will ensure accurate sample handling, processing, and documentation as the company scales its multi‑cancer detection platform.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sample accessioning, labeling, aliquoting, and organization.
• Support plasma processing and DNA extraction workflows.
• Maintain accurate records in the LIMS and follow SOPs and batch records.
• Prepare reagents, consumables, and materials for scheduled workflows.
• Keep laboratory storage areas, inventory locations, and equipment clean and well‑maintained.
• Adhere to safety policies, quality standards, and material‑handling requirements.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related field (preferred).
• 1‑2 years of hands‑on laboratory experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain thorough documentation.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced laboratory environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
