About the role
The Laboratory Assistant will support anatomy and physiology courses by preparing and maintaining laboratory environments for student learning. This position works closely with lead instructors to ensure smooth operation of lab sessions.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and take down laboratory equipment for each class session.
- Order, inventory, and maintain lab supplies and materials.
- Repair and maintain anatomical models and other teaching aids.
- Keep laboratory spaces clean, organized, and safe.
- Supervise students as they complete laboratory activities.
Required profile
- Completed associate‑level courses in BIOL2113/2113L and BIOL2114/2114L (or equivalent) with grades of A.
- Availability to work a minimum of three consecutive semesters.
Required skills
- Audiovisual technology operation within a laboratory or classroom setting.
