Kitting Operations Technician (Contract)

About the role

Airbus Satair is seeking a Contract Kitting Operations Technician to support its sustainable aviation mission at the Dulles, VA facility. The role focuses on assembling, documenting, and delivering aircraft parts kits in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform kitting operations following company guidelines, technical data, and the quality system.
• Verify that part documentation matches the bill of material and manufacturer specifications.
• Register and maintain technical data in coordination with the Kitting Operations Supervisor.
• Participate in annual recurrent training and any additional training required by the Quality department.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of production or kitting experience, preferably in aerospace.
• Manufacturer training certification is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with flexibility.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb intermittently, hear emergency alarms, and perform squatting/kneeling tasks.
