Kitchen Staff – Food Preparation & Service

About the role

Opaa! Food Management is seeking reliable Kitchen Staff to prepare breakfast and lunch, support catering functions, and work across all kitchen stations. You will help set up serving lines, ensure food safety, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and keep food at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plans and Opaa! recipes, including baking breads, cakes, and cookies.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, cafeteria, and dishwashing areas; follow FIFO inventory practices.
• Record temperatures, complete HACCP logs, and comply with HHFKA and CACFP regulations.
• Assist with inventory requisition and restocking of supplies.
• Serve food portions with appropriate utensils and ensure appealing presentation.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures.
• Commitment to Opaa!’s core values and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work onsite in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Attendance at required meetings, trainings, and safety programs.

Required skills

• Operation of kitchen equipment (slicers, mixers, grinders) with certification.
• Food safety compliance, including HACCP processes and temperature monitoring.
• Inventory management using FIFO methodology.
• Dishwashing equipment operation and sanitation.
