About the role
Prep Academy Tutors is seeking enthusiastic K‑12 tutors to provide in‑home and online academic support to students in Imperial Beach, Chula Vista and Coronado. You will work directly with learners, families and teachers to reinforce curriculum concepts and promote deeper understanding.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver academic support aligned with California state curriculum.
- Create supplemental assignments to reinforce material.
- Provide remedial and enrichment assistance tailored to each student.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about progress.
Required profile
- Energetic, enthusiastic teachers or subject‑matter experts.
- Commitment to excellent customer service and strong communication.
- Ability to adapt to a wide range of learning styles.
