Junior Web Application Developer

About the role

Halvik Corp is seeking a Junior Web Application Developer to support a large‑scale federal modernization program. This remote position offers hands‑on experience building and maintaining web applications that serve critical government initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement assigned web development tasks under supervision, following project standards and deadlines.
• Assist with defect resolution, testing, and quality‑assurance activities.
• Participate in documentation, knowledge‑sharing, and team collaboration.
• Learn and understand the ATRRS system architecture and development standards.
• Support ongoing maintenance and updates for web applications.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and best practices in web development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1‑3 years of experience in web application development.
• Knowledge of web development technologies and frameworks.
• Understanding of system architecture and development standards.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Active Secret security clearance.
