About the role

Apex TK is looking for a Junior Telemetry Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Targets and Countermeasures program. You will work on pre‑mission trajectory validation, performance analysis, and provide onsite telemetry expertise during flight test events.

Key responsibilities

Support target vehicle development, requirements, modeling, simulation, test analysis and reporting.
Configure, operate, and process telemetry data acquisition equipment during test events.
Generate visualizations, situational‑awareness displays, and briefing materials for mission planning and analysis.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, Java, and C#.
Experience with telemetry systems, data de‑commutation, and reduction.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
