Junior ServiceNow Developer

About the role

CACI is looking for a motivated ServiceNow Developer with 1 to 3 years of experience managing the ServiceNow platform or similar, following ITIL methodology with a focus on ITSM and record producer business processes. The role covers installing, troubleshooting and developing ServiceNow applications in an Agile framework and Scrum, and building portal applications with ServiceNow's Employee Center Pro. It is based in Chantilly, Virginia, and requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and deploy ServiceNow Service Portals, and develop Service Portal widgets and capabilities
• Test applications for bugs and performance throughout development
• Use UI policies, UI actions and client scripts
• Manage users, groups, roles and ACLs
• Share development status and blockers in daily Scrum meetings with other developers and the Scrum Master
• Help document application design and code generation techniques

Required profile

• Current IAT Level II certification (Security+) or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team
• TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) course completed within 60 days of start (certification not mandatory)

Required skills

• ServiceNow development: business rules, client scripts, UI actions, ITSM
• Understanding of workflow and process management in commercial and federal sectors
• Desired: JavaScript, HTML or XML, Employee Center Pro, Scrum and Agile, ITIL4, ServiceNow developer certification (preferably CSA)
