Junior Microsoft 365 Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team in Kansas City. You will provide day‑to‑day support for Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, handling service requests, access management, and troubleshooting while contributing to small internal projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily support tickets for Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange.
• Process access requests, create shared mailboxes, guest users, SharePoint sites, and Teams sites.
• Troubleshoot mail flow issues, delivery problems, and message header details.
• Assist with onboarding, off‑boarding, permissions, and external sharing workflows.
• Draft and maintain knowledge‑base articles and standard support documentation.
• Support backup services and related operational tasks.
• Participate in smaller internal projects and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Escalate complex issues with clear documentation and hand‑off notes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration or related IT support.
• Hands‑on experience with Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and related collaboration tools.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and clear written communication.
• Ability to work primarily in an operational support role.
• Preferred: Microsoft 365 certification, associate’s degree, and exposure to Power Platform, Entra ID, or backup services.
