Junior Legal Associate

About the role

POP MART is seeking a proactive Junior Legal Associate to support its dynamic operations in the United States. Reporting to the Senior Counsel, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams, providing legal guidance on commercial transactions, compliance, and intellectual property matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including vendor contracts, licensing agreements, NDAs, distribution and wholesale agreements, and marketing services agreements.
• Provide practical legal advice on contract terms, business risks, and opportunities aligned with company strategy.
• Develop, update, and manage contract templates to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Support the protection and management of POP MART’s IP portfolio, including trademarks and copyrights, under senior guidance.
• Assist global teams with IP‑related matters, conducting research and coordinating basic operational support.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on regulatory risks affecting POP MART’s US and Canada operations, including physical stores and e‑commerce platforms.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in commercial or IP law.
• Strong business acumen and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Willingness to work onsite five days per week at the Culver City office.
